On 26th December 2012, David Wen (General Manager) led all of the VLMET employees and moved into the new office building and workshop. On the following day, Meng Tao (Chairman) and David Wen held a staff meeting with all VLMET employees.

The Chairman raised 6 main points:

1) All employees should maintain a decent working environment and abide to the strict disciplinary rules set by the company.

2) As an international company, it is essential to establish development and training programs in two areas (languages and skills). The purpose of the language training is to provide a better understanding of how to communicate with people in different languages, i.e. Chinese nationals to learn English and non-Chinese nationals to learn Chinese. Regular professional training is mainly provided to our technicians in order to understand advanced international technology, to improve our products.

3) Carrying forward the entrepreneurial spirit and initiative learning.

4) Maintaining a good management system with proper rules and regulations in place.

5) Corporate brand – We are one of the renowned corporations in the production of mining equipment, the main products are Drill Rig, Underground Diesel Vehicles and Conveyor, etc. The Drill Rigs and Underground Diesel Vehicles are one of the world's leading products; we are also currently the only international supplier in China to supply Drill Rigs. We will continuously provide outstanding products, equipment, technology and services.

6) To enhance production – We need to increase production and improve quality as our sales focus will become more orientated towards Chinese customers in the future.

The General Manager, David Wen carried out a comprehensive analysis and summary report for this year, setting the profit target for 2013.
